About Me

I am a licensed psychotherapist with a private practice in Orange County, CA. I received my BA in Pschology from UCLA and my MSW (Masters of Social Work) from USC. I have been working in mental health settings since 1994 and have experience working in all levels of care from residential settings to general outpatient clinics. I have been licensed as a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in California for 1 1/2 years.

Although I offer an individualized approach, I frequently work within a psychodynamic psychotherapy framework. Psychodynamic psychotherapy is an experiential, in-depth form of treatment that explores the ways in which past experiences and emotional expectations developed in childhood have contributed to current difficulties in functioning. This form of treatment examines the complexities of interpersonal relationships, including the developing relationship with the therapist.

I do not accept insurance at this time but I am able to provide documentation of your visit and payment to be submitted to your insurance company as an out-of-network provider. I also offer sliding scale fees. Please contact me with any other questions about professional fees.
